Below you will find the broodmares we are offering. These range from open mares to mares in foal, with or without foals at their side. Some mares may be able to be sold with their current foal (if foal is still available) whereas others will have to wait until their foal is weaned before leaving. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Meet Cee Whiskey, a 2004 Sorrel mare, sired by Paddys Irish Whiskey. She is being offered to be added to someone else’s program. She can be tough to catch in a large field setting (this has been getting better), but is completely fine to handle once caught. Leads, loads, ties. I have no idea if she rides, as I bought her for a broodmare.
She is color (ee/AA) and panel tested (carries one copy of IMM). She stands ~15.1 hands. The foal in the photos is her 2022 foal. She is open for 2025 as she foaled late in 2024.
Grace had 60 days under saddle in 2019, but would benefit from a refresher. I bought Grace from Promised Land Ranch in Washington state as a weanling. Her sire Okanogan Blue is recently deceased. Few horses with her pedigree can be found in this part of the country.
Grace is sometimes difficult to catch in a large field setting and low on the totem pole. Grace is color tested homozygous black, heterozygous roan and had a gorgeous black filly in 2023 (pictured above). She is in foal to Blue Hickory Boon for 2025 foal. Grace stands 16 hands tall. Grace is also panel tested and clear.
Brownie, a Corona Cartel granddaughter, had a 2024 colt by Hemi, our own son of Frenchmans Guy and is bred back the same way for 2025. Brownie is mid to low end of the totem pole and low maintenance as a mother. She is UTD on deworming and vaccines. Pictured above are a few of her previous foals.
Brownie is broodmare sound only.
Mavis is a 13 year old draft cross mare and was purchased spring 2023 to breed to my Friesian/Azteca stud. She is a sweet mare, easy keeper on turnout/hay. She is bred for 2025 to JCM Paddys Docline for a QH cross.
Pictured above is her 2024 Friesian X colt.
Below is her sale ad when I purchased her. I have not personally ridden her.
"Mavis 12 year old Gypsy X Percheron cross mare. Stands 15.3 hands tall with heavy bone, good hooves and lots of eye appeal. Mavis rides English, western and drives! Mavis is comfortable to walk, trot and canter. She will arena ride or go down the trail or out through fields. Mavis likes to work and has an upbeat work ethic whether she’s riding or driving. Mavis will cross tarps, carry a flag, carry an umbrella, go over ground poles, take a cross rail and move nicely through obstacles etc. Out on trail she will ride alone or in a group and is good about other horses and dogs around her and traffic safe.
She stands tied and is easy to bathe and clip, she’s good for the vet and farrier and loads and hauls great! Mavis sells sound without vices or limitations."
Two Fancy Link, also known as Buffy, is a 2015 palomino mare. She was open for 2024. Buffy has been a broodmare her entire life but is sound and could be easily broke to ride. She is an easy keeper and middle to low end of the pecking order. She is 5 panel clear through parentage. Pictured above is her 2021 and 2023 fillies. She sells exposed to JCM Paddys Docline, by Paddys Irish Whiskey for 2025.
Goldie is a super pretty mare, and a super easy keeper, standing about 14.3h. Big Bodied and stout! Foals without issue and raises an awesome foal. Exposed to WT Frenchmans Pistol for 2025 foal. She's difficult to catch in a pasture setting is really the only reason for selling. Lightly started under saddle.
Pictured above is her with her 2019 filly and 2024 colt.
